Welcoming new perspectives to Business Analytics

August 13-15, 2025

Advanced PhD students and post-docs—especially those outside of business schools—who are curious about academic careers in Business Analytics are invited to join us for the third annual FutureBAProf at the Tippie College of Business.

This 1.5-day workshop will demystify the field of business analytics while supporting emerging scholars preparing for the academic job market. You'll learn critical skills, build networks with peers and mentors, and prepare yourself for some of the hottest careers in academia. Network with leaders

Learn from and connect with speakers at the leading edge of business analytics. You'll practice your networking skills one-on-one with faculty from all over the country.

Add your voice and perspective to a growing community of business analytics scholars who are shaping the future of the discipline in a supportive and environment where people feel they belong.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Have an interest in a faculty career in business analytics
  • Be an advanced PhD student or postdoc in business analytics, computer science, industrial engineering, or any other related STEM field
  • Study at a U.S. academic institution.
