Because of her involvement in the college and impressive career, the Tippie College of Business has chosen Sue Taylor (MBA01) as the 2021 Tippie Alum of the Year.

Roberto Paniagua (BBA11), an account executive at Google in Chicago, has been named the 2021 Tippie Young Alum of the Year. Paniagua has been extremely involved in the life of the college since he began his studies in economics at the Tippie College of Business in 2007.

In the U.S. News & World Report 2022 Best Graduate Schools rankings, the Professional MBA Program at the Tippie College of Business is ranked as the #35 part-time MBA program in the U.S., up a point from #36 last year. It is the only program in Iowa ranked among the top 50 part-time MBA programs.

Will Moon (BBA83), along with his wife, Renee, made a transformative donation to endow the head football coaching position and create a new athletics excellence fund at the University of Iowa.

National Player of the Year and economics major, Luka Garza of the University of Iowa has been selected as the 2021 Senior CLASS Award winner in NCAA Division I men’s basketball. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence: classroom, community, character, and competition.
